Rachel Skipper
Rachel has been teaching yoga for over 9 years, training initially with renowned Vinyasa Flow yoga teacher Claire Missingham, before deepening her knowledge with an Advanced Teacher Training with the authoritative teacher’s teacher, Anna Ashby. She also trained with Anna in teaching Restorative Yoga, a therapeutic style of practice which was developed by B. K. S. Iyengar. Rachel recently graduated with an MA in the Traditions of Yoga & Meditation from SOAS, University of London, and continues her studies of the Sanskrit Language. Rachel teaches Vinyasa Flow yoga, through an intelligent sequencing of postures, often working towards a 'peak' posture or group of postures. ‘Vinyasa’ translates as ’to place in a special way’ and this lays emphasis on not only the creative sequencing that you’ll find in Rachel’s flow classes, but also the transitional movements between postures that seamlessly link them together. Rachel’s Vinyasa classes have a particular focus on alignment, creative sequencing, and music!
